Cinema ticket price increase from 1st October
Due to the increase in VAT from 5% to 12.5% from 1st October, we unfortunately have to return our ticket prices back to pre-covid pricing with a small increase.
Back in 2020, VAT was reduced to 5% due to the COVID pandemic, where we chose to pass this reduction onto our guests with a decrease in ticket prices when we reopened at the end of July 2020.
TIP: This increase takes effect on sales carried out from 1st October, meaning if you book tickets to see a film that is showing after this date but book before this takes effect, you get your tickets at our current price.
A price increase is never an easy decision but with the VAT rate slowly returning to its original level, we must also adapt our pricing accordingly.
