“Working at Wellington Orbit has been a truly enriching and fulfilling experience for me. The warm and welcoming atmosphere of the cafe, combined with the camaraderie among the managers and volunteers, has made it a second home for me. I’ve had the opportunity to develop my interpersonal and teamwork skills through daily interactions with both colleagues and customers.

One of the highlights of my volunteer work has been the chance to contribute to the community by being a part of the cafe. Serving the customers, crafting perfect cups of coffee, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience has not only been rewarding but has also allowed me to witness the positive impact the cafe has on the local community.

I’ve learned a great deal about the operations of a cafe, from managing inventory to providing excellent customer service. These skills will undoubtedly serve me well in my future endeavours, and i’m grateful for the chance to have acquired them in such a supportive and encouraging environment.
