Orbit showing love to NHS with hampers

The films may not be showing right now but community-owned cinema and cafe, Wellington Orbit are showing the love for all the NHS staff at Princess Royal Hospital by creating and delivering over 40 food hampers for them over the next few weeks. Hannah Davison who heads up food operations at Wellington Orbit is putting together the hampers while the usual cafe trade is restricted due to lockdown measures to prevent the spread of Covid19. They will include local produce and lots of treats, but Hannah explains there is one thing missing…

Hannah said “We’re looking for messages of support and thanks to the wonderful NHS staff that we can print out and include in the hampers. It’s a great way to get involved with the project and will show how much the recipients are valued by us all.” Chairman Phil Morris-Jones commented “The Wellington Orbit is more than just a cinema, it’s a project to delight the community. This is a small token of our appreciation, combined with messages of support and gratitude from the community for the incredible work done by all of the staff”.

It’s really easy to send in your messages. Just visit www.wellingtonorbit.co.uk/nhs and fill out the form. We will then print off and include each message with one of the hampers to show our appreciation to the amazing NHS staff at Princess Royal Hospital. You have until Friday 22nd January to get them in before the hampers are delivered.
