Wellington Orbit adds a gory twist to Pride and Prejudice, Pride and Prejudice with Zombies, and 28 Years Later, plus a spooky VHS treasure hunt involving local businesses. There’s a live Every Movie Ever! podcast recording with audience participation, a secret screening, and an exclusive director interview. On 13 July, a revealing Q&A with award-winning Shropshire stuntman Justin Pearson (James Bond, Wonder Woman) takes audiences behind the scenes of popular movies.

Since works began on 28th April, our appointed contractors, Pave-Aways Limited, have made strong early progress across a few key areas of the building.
We are delighted to inform members that our Annual General Meeting will take place on Monday 30th June at 7pm in our cinema.
Four independent cinemas across Shropshire are set to launch a new collaboration, Shropshire Independent Cinema (SIC), with a vibrant three-day festival titled “The Rural Remix,” taking place from 11th to 13th July 2025.
From Monday 12th May, we expect there to be some temporary disruption to our cafe as construction work is carried out to support the upper floors as part of our Phase 2 renovations. We expect this to take 3-4 weeks to complete, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused throughout this period.

Wellington Orbit’s popular Midweek Wonders initiative will continue beyond March 2025, thanks to new sponsorship from Wellington Town Council.
