Orbit receive recognition award from the Mayor of Wellington

Yesterday Wellington Orbit was visited by the Mayor of Wellington Cllr Patricia Fairclough to present them with a recognition award for above and beyond services to the people of Wellington.

Liam McClelland, Board Director, said: “We are very proud and thankful for this award and it wouldn’t be possible without our amazing team of staff and volunteers. We are committed to benefiting the local community and we are working on some exciting plans for the future so keep your eyes peeled”.

Wellington Orbit have been working throughout lockdown to benefit the community ranging from delivering hampers to the NHS staff at Princess Royal Hospital to operating as a takeaway to continue to provide the people of Wellington with delicious food and drink.
