Wellington Orbit set to receive funding boost following Levelling Up success

We’re thrilled to learn that we’ll be receiving a significant boost from the UK government’s Levelling Up Fund to refurbish the upper two floors of our building, enabling us to become a thriving cinema and arts centre. This will include developing a multi-use studio and multi-functional spaces that caters to the needs of the community. 🎥🎭🎨

We’re already conducting research to ensure that the redevelopment best represents the community and provides immense impact to the town. The news follows the successful bid by Telford & Wrekin Council to secure £9.8 million towards the regeneration of Wellington Town Centre.

We currently await further details surrounding this news and we will endeavour to update you as this progresses. This is the next big step for the project and we look forward to these exciting developments.
